What changes do you wish to see at our school?
“I wish to see development in the following areas: Library upgrading- as far as resources are concerned and more learners to be interested to enter the library and read a book that he or she wants to read. School fence- to be upgraded for security to control late-coming and dodging of learners, as well as controlling visitors coming to the school.”

“I wish t see a change in improvement of results in all grades. Also, beautification of our school with different things… for example, planting many different trees.”

“To build up a stronger nation, to stamp down illiterate in our community, to help and encourage learners to work harder so that their dreams may come true and be real role models in their communities. I want to see them well educated and professional people.”

 What changes do you wish to see at our school?
“A good performance (high pass rate) in all grades and improvements in official language. I also wish to see our school well equipped with all modern facilities e.g. photocopy machines, computers, TV, etc. Finally, I wish to see our school (buildings, trees, etc.) well cared and protected.”

“Most of the people in our community don’t know how to read or write. Due to this, it motivate me to teach young generations to have better future.”

What do you hope our school will look like, and how do you hope it will run, five years from now?“Development will be seen, e.g. improve in official language; learners will pass with high marks, like Grade 10 learners. Community will understand and participate fully in educational activities, e.g. Parent’s Meeting, Parent Day, and they will help learners in their homework, etc.”

Computers- will help to store information for teachers and learners at our school.”

“Good relationship between teachers and parents, good atmosphere, sharing ideas which help the learners in learning.”

“For learners- acquiring basic scientific skills such as handling apparatus. For teachers- plan lessons effectively when teaching aids/resources are available.”

How will a fully functioning computer lab benefit our school?
"
Both teacher and learners can be exposed to technology and gain basic computer skills such as typing. Teachers can type question papers, tests, and learner activities. It will also increase the number of enrollment as more learners cling to schools with better facilities.”

To educate people and remember for what is achieved through education. To get a degree first, and then a masters in education.”

What motivates you to teach?
“Is learners performances. It motivate me a lot more especially when they did their best. Working atmosphere also motivate me. As a teacher, so far I’m enjoying my career.”

How do you think resources will benefit the learners and teachers at our school?
“Resources mean a lot to both of us. Teachers are going to work more easily and do the work efficiently and as a result, learners are going to pass with flying colors.”

What is your favorite memory of teaching so far?
"
Receiving the award on behalf of the school for being the most improved in the region, and being recognized for what my previous learners did well in my subjects.”

What changes do you wish to see at our school?
“Discipline…I want to see a new face of our school in connection with discipline. I also want to see proper teacher’s housing, strengthened school fence, and renovations on most buildings.”

What do you hope our school will look like and how do you hope it will run five years from now?
“So far, I have noticed some changes, I think if things went according to plans, our school will be one of the best. I see our school stepping to another level after 5 years and run like those of the whites.” 

How will improvements at the school benefit the community?
“I understand it in this way…that any improvement at school is an improvement at community at large. Learners and some teachers are from community therefore they will have a better understanding of the world of technology.”

How will a fully functioning computer lab benefit the school?
“Wow! A lot! The school will make use of the computer to type and print out all school works. This means that its going to save some coins because normally we must pay for this if done at another school. Important information can also be stored in computer which is more safe than files. Also, teachers and learners will become computer literate.

What changes do you wish to see at our school?
“I wish and would like to see everything changing and changed for the better and best:

I wish to see an environment of improved learning culture.

Positive and intrinsically motivated staff working toward yielding excellent results.
3)     
Improved and permanently developed school infrastructure with adequate facilities that would encourage more and better learners to come back to Uukwiyoongwe C.S.

I wish Uukwiyoongwe C.S. to be viewed as an academic village and also a global village.
